We were happy to help the Hudson family with a full replacement after their roof underwent hail and wind damage from a recent storm. We updated their old 3-Tab Shingle system to the CertainTeed Landmark Architectural Shingle. We began by removing the previous roof down to the plywood. We then replaced any sheets of old plywood, installed DiamondDeck synthetic underlayment and WinterGuard ice and water shield to replace their old felt paper. We cut in a new ridge vent to allow their roof to breathe, replaced all their flashings, and installed Lifetime Ultimate pipe collar flashing. Lastly, we installed starter shingle, ridge cap shingles, and the entire CertainTeed Landmark system!

An improperly installed roof and gutter system caused this porch roof to rot straight through the plywood. We started by tearing off all shingles and underlayment to the plywood, replacing the rotting plywood, and detaching the siding and replacing the apron flashing that had not been replaced when the previous roof was installed. We then rerouted the downspout that had been draining directly onto the roof and finished by installing DiamondDeck synthetic underlayment, drip edge, starter shingle, and lastly brand new asphalt shingles!

We recently finished a roof replacement project for a homeowner in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The project included removing the old roofing materials, replacing damaged plywood, and installing RoofRunner underlayment along with WinterGuard Ice and Water shield. Additionally, we applied drip edge to all roof edges, SureStart starter shingles on eaves, and CertainTeed Landmark "Charcoal Black” shingles. We also installed ridge vent and Shadow Ridge caps, upgraded pipejack flashing to Lifetime Tool flashing, and replaced chimney flashing and turtle vents.

After tree limbs went through both sides of this homeowner's roof last winter, they were in need of a full roof replacement! We began by removing the existing roof and replacing damaged plywood. We installed Diamond Deck, a synthetic underlayment designed to keep the roof deck dry in the event water were to make it through the shingles. We installed WinterGuard Ice and Water along the gutter line and valleys on the roof to ensure ice and snow that tends to sit in these places will not intrude to the plywood. We then installed a pipe collar, ridge vent, drip edge, and a new gutter system. To complete the replacement, we installed starter shingles around the perimeter of the roof and finished with Certainteed Landmark shingles.
