We replaced this homeowner's roof in Strasburg, Virginia, whose roof had suffered significant damage from a severe hail and wind storm. We began by removing all existing roofing material down to the plywood and replacing any damaged plywood. We installed RoofRunner underlayment, which provides an extra layer of protection against leaks and enhances the roof's durability. We applied WinterGuard Ice and Water Shield, focusing on areas prone to ice buildup and leaks. We installed a drip edge on all roof rakes and a gutter apron on all eaves. SureStart starter shingles were placed along all roof edges followed by CertainTeed Landmark shingles in "Charcoal Black," a stylish and durable option.
