Landmark Architectural Shingles | Roof Replacement | Alexandria, Virginia

For this roofing project in Alexandria, Virginia we began by removing the existing shingles and re-nailing any loose wood. We installed Certainteed WinterGuard ice and water shield at all eaves and in valleys followed by Certainteed DiamondDeck Synthetic underlayment to ensure the roof stays dry. We installed a new ridge vent, shadow ridge hip, and ridge shingles. Lifetime Ultimate pipe jack flashing, drip edge, as well as all chimney, step, and apron flashing were replaced. To complete the project, we installed Certainteed SwiftStart Starter Shingles along all gutter lines and rake edges as well as Certainteed Landmark AR Lifetime Dimensional Shingles.
